Job summary
Grand Canyon University Inc. seeks an adjunct IT instructor to teach the Enterprise Route & Switch course at our Phoenix campus for the Spring 2027 semester.
The role involves facilitating lectures, engaging students, and mentoring success in a hands-on environment with modern facilities and smaller class sizes. The ideal candidate has 7+ years as a Network Admin/Engineer, with a Bachelor's or higher in IT; a Master's is preferred, along with CCNA, LAN/WAN, QoS, DMZs, and VoIP experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in Information Technology or related field.
- Master's in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 7+ years as Network Admin/Engineer.
- 2–5 years teaching or training experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lectures and discussions.
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
- Align instruction with the University’s Doctrinal Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
- Provide real-world networking experience to support course objectives.
