Qualifications

• Earned master's degree or higher in information systems, information technology or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Master’s degree with 18 semester hours or equivalent of IS/IT coursework beyond introductory levels.
• Bachelor’s degree with two or more: professional certification, two years in-field work, teaching excellence evidence, research/publication, or additional coursework (CEUs, vendor, or military).

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment to help students reach goals and provide effective instruction and assessment per common syllabi.
• Perform instructional duties to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes; maintain attendance and grading per policy.
• Provide syllabus appropriate to course and follow content/requirements; be available outside class time to support students.
• Teach all scheduled classes; use Canvas and PowerPoint; notify department chair in emergencies.

Master’s degree or higher in information systems/info tech or related field

Master’s with 18 semester hours in IS/IT or related field

Bachelor’s degree with two+ qualifying items
