Job summary

Universities of Wisconsin–Stevens Point invites applications for an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer pool to teach on a per-course basis. Positions are contingent, part-time, and offered for the academic year with potential for future opportunities.

Teaching hours vary, and remote possibilities may exist. Successful candidates will contribute to the College of Natural Resources with diverse instruction across courses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with relevant experience in Forestry, Soil & Waste Resources, Wildlife Ecology, Fisheries & Water Resources, or Environmental Education and Interpretation.
• Formal or informal teaching experience, including outreach or extension programming.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
