Universities of Wisconsin–Stevens Point invites applications for an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. This is a per-course, part-time, salaried academic staff position to fill current and future needs on a pool basis.

Teaching may occur in classroom, online or laboratory settings, with hours varying up to 12 credits per semester; on-site with potential for partial remote opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or a related field.
• Relevant work or teaching experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
