Qualifications

• Minimum of Master's degree in Geography or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience, interest, and commitment to undergraduate teaching.
• Earned Doctorate in Geography.
• Previous teaching experience, with a demonstrated ability to teach introductory physical geography and upper-division GIS courses (with expertise in ArcGIS Pro).
• Experience and/or interest in teaching online courses.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations.
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
