Job summary

i9 Sports - Aspen Management is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to deliver fun, age-appropriate sports sessions for children aged 3–14 across multiple core sports. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and skill development, with opportunities to cross-train in soccer, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and more.

The position is part-time and contractor-based, with flexible weekday hours at various local fields.

Qualifications

• Must have proven playing or coaching experience in at least two core sports (Soccer, Flag Football, Baseball/T-ball, Basketball, Volleyball).
• Willingness to cross-coach and lead sessions across multiple core sports.
• Experience working with youth ages 3–14 in recreational, school, or camp settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with kids and parents.
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organized; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the designated location early to set up equipment and ensure a safe, organized environment.
• Greet participants and check in, ensuring waivers and paperwork are completed.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate sports lessons across multiple sports focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Adapt lesson plans based on skill levels and participant needs; demonstrate proper techniques.
• Foster a positive environment that promotes growth and self-confidence; monitor participant safety.
• Communicate progress and any concerns with parents and guardians; assist with cleanup and equipment storage.
