Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Youth Sports Instructor to lead engaging, multi-sport sessions for children aged 3–14 at various local fields. You will develop age-appropriate drills that emphasize technique, teamwork, and sportspirit, while maintaining a fun, inclusive environment.

The role is part-time contractor with flexible hours on weekdays, offering opportunities for advancement and employee discounts. CPR/First Aid is a plus or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• Must have proven playing or coaching experience in at least two core sports: Soccer, Flag Football, Baseball/T-ball, Basketball, or Volleyball.
• Experience working with youth (ages 3–14) in recreational, school, or camp settings preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Arrive early to set up equipment and ensure a safe, organized environment.
• Greet participants and check waivers/paperwork.
• Engage with children in a friendly, professional manner and foster inclusivity.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons across multiple sports.
• Adapt lesson plans based on skill levels and needs of participants.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and provide clear, actionable instructions.
• Promote growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Ensure safety during lessons and monitor participants.
• Communicate progress and concerns with parents/guardians.
• Assist in cleaning and storing equipment after sessions.
