Job summary

Marsden Services, LLC is hiring a Part-Time Maintenance Technician in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on building maintenance, basic repairs, and preventative tasks across multiple trades.

The technician will work 8am-12pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities and opportunities to mentor junior staff as needed. A technical background and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four years multi-family or commercial building maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate computer skills include email, time entry, and Excel.
• Must provide own hand tools as listed.
• All boilers license levels accepted and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to meet standards.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders for timely completion.
• Perform basic repairs to HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and appliances.
• Assist in maintaining tools inventory and collaborate with vendors.
• Provide on-call emergency maintenance and training for new technicians.
• Attend safety trainings and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Maintain professional conduct with residents and public.
