Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
ARRT certification required (ARMRIT accepted with ARRT MR certification within 1 year of hire).
BLS certification (AHA) required or within 90 days of hire.
IV certification preferred (or within 6 months of orientation).
Must meet continuing education requirements (24 ECE credits every 2 years).
Responsibilities
Perform routine and selected special MRI procedures.
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment.
Assist radiologists as needed.
Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards.
Provide high-quality patient care and customer service.
