Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License or Temp Permit.
• 1-2 years MRI technologist or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize PACS to provide images for interpretation.
• Enter exam coding in the Radiology Information System.
• Assist in care and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Supervise radiography students during clinical practicum.
• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients properly for exams.
• Practice safety protocols with regard to MRI.
