The Leinwand Laboratory at the University of Colorado BioFrontiers Institute is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support molecular biology research. The candidate will work 5-10 hours weekly in a lab focused on genetic heart and skeletal muscle diseases and cardiac hypertrophy mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Biology, Molecular Biology, CellBiology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Performing recombinant DNA experiments and molecular biologytechniques.
• Maintaining mammalian and primary cell cultures.
• Conducting cell transfections and nucleofectionprocedures.
• Acquiring and analyzing microscopy images.
• Organizing, analyzing, and presenting experimental data.
