Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is seeking a Research Assistant 1 to perform basic Molecular Immunology experiments and support oral immune health studies in the laboratory. The role involves handling biological specimens, preparing reagents, calibrating devices, and maintaining research documents in a lab setting.

This part-time, 24-hour-per-week position spans one year and requires collaboration with principal investigators, researchers, and students to ensure protocol compliance and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or Associate's degree in an approved biotechnology program with related experience.
• 0–1 year of experience for Bachelor's pathway or 0–2 years for Associate pathway required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic molecular immunology experiments and collect qualitative and quantitative study data.
• Conduct analysis of samples including cell culture, flow cytometry staining, qPCR and ELISA.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and inventory of samples and reagents.
