Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring a Part-time Mini Load Picking Lead at the Indianapolis distribution center. You will oversee day-to-day operations, guide a small team, and ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and routing of orders within a fast-paced warehouse.

The role includes coordinating with branches, maintaining safety standards, and supporting sustainability goals. Hours include multiple shifts and weekend coverage as needed at the 5851 Guion Rd facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or industrial operations preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer operations and data entry (scanners, labels).
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the Mini Load Picking team.
• Communicate with branches and staff.
• Pick and pack orders using a small parts automated goods-to-person system.
• Operate labeling and weighing equipment; use scanners and printers.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Support health, safety, and sustainability objectives.
