Job summary

The Holy Hill Area School District is seeking a special education paraprofessional to serve students with disabilities in 5th through 8th grade beginning as soon as possible. This paraprofessional would work under the direction of the special education teachers, and Director to support students with disabilities in the regular education classroom, as well as small group and one-on-one settings.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional license in special education (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff to plan instructional support

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in 5th–8th grade in regular education classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one settings
• Assist special education teachers and the director in instructional planning
• Provide supervision during lunch and recess for 5th–8th grade students
