MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES is seeking a Microbiology Technician (Part Time) in Allentown, PA. The role focuses on preparing samples, labeling, and analyzing microbiology tests in a regulated lab environment.

Requirements include a HS Diploma and 1+ year of relevant work, plus basic science knowledge and safety procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4PM–9:30PM with compensation of $19.00/hour.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required with 1+ year relevant work experience.
• Basic science knowledge to perform testing procedures correctly.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and results recording.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending.
• Label plates and tubes to track client and sample numbers.
• Pipette solutions into tubes or plates per analysis process.
• Maintain documentation and use LIMS for data entry and traceability.
• Set up equipment and maintain a clean, sanitized work area.
• Follow safety policies and participate in housekeeping and waste handling.
