Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for NWK-ROCKAWAY, NJ to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing, and promotional execution while maintaining a customer-ready store environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs for compliance.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards and accountability for store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution and ensure timely unloading and product flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership to meet business needs.
• Execute and maintain in-stock routines to drive replenishment accuracy and sales readiness.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards including product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and correct stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure accurate picking/packing/shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with accurate documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures to shrink reduction.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
