Job summary

Michaels in Norman, OK is seeking a Part-time Merchandising Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards, ensuring accurate pricing and timely promotions to create a customer-ready store.

You will provide MOD coverage, lead floor operations, and oversee stock replenishment, backroom organization, and stock movement to support sales readiness in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of merchandising standards and planogram execution.
• Experience enforcing SOPs and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure store policies are followed and SOPs applied by the team.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and merch flow to floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to align staffing.
• Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and accuracy.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving.
• Handle inventory adjustments and shrink reduction procedures.
• Train and develop team members in assigned departments.
• Collaborate on asset protection practices to reduce shrink.
