Job summary

The Michaels Companies, a leading crafts retailer, seeks a Merchandise Manager in Oklahoma City to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing integrity, and visual standards to create a customer-ready store environment.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, enabling effective staffing, and sustaining in-stock optimization, ship-from-store fulfillment, and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining service standards and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution, unload, sort, and flow merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution to complete merchandising sets on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized store environment, backroom organization, and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, accuracy, integrity, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and customer-focused placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across sales floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping accurately.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction; train and coach team members.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and safety in operations.
