Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Support Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations around Elk Grove, CA, delivering organized displays and maintaining inventory levels of greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods.

You will work independently on a route with flexible hours, receive paid training, and contribute to store merchandising during peak holiday seasons while building strong relationships with store staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• English reading, writing and comprehension required.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Reliable internet for updates and communications.
• Comfortable using a company-issued tablet for training and tasks.
• Occasional weekends and major-holiday scheduling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandise and organize product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management about service or schedule questions.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Availability for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product moves.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
