Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, display and maintain inventory for greetings, gift wrap, and party goods. The role emphasizes organization, route planning, and independent work across various stores.

Starting pay is $14.00 per hour with raises after 6 months and 1 year; flexible scheduling and paid training are provided, along with a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency to learn and use company tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs - weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying products within greeting card departments and other locations, and maintaining backroom areas.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, minor fixture work, and product assembly or relocation when requested.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
