Overview: As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you play a vital role in our mission to help people celebrate holidays, each other, and life's special moments by making the world more thoughtful and caring every day. We seek merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay is $12.20/hour with two increases in the first year, subject to location adjustments.
• Pay increases to $12.90 after 6 months and $13.50 after 1 year of employment.

Route and Schedule:

This route services multiple retail locations at specified addresses in WV. The average weekly hours are 15, potentially increasing to 20 hours during holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service stores on your route, merchandising, organizing product orders, and maintaining displays and backroom areas.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule concerns.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrating effective time and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during retail hours.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, and relocations as needed.
• Plan and review weekly service schedules using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Experience and Qualifications:

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Reliable transportation and internet access.
• Technological competency to use company tablets.
• Availability for occasional weekends and holiday work.

Physical Demands:

Work involves standing, walking, stooping, squatting, and lifting/moving items up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be provided.
