As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you are a vital part of our company’s purpose: helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life’s special moments, by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. We are looking for merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing their organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebrations products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.
Pay:
• Starting at $12.20 per hour, with two increases during the first year of employment (subject to change based on location).
• After 6 months, pay increases to $12.90.
• After 1 year, pay increases to $13.50.
• Flexible work scheduling.

Route and Schedule:
This route services multiple retail locations at addresses including Marmet, Charleston, Cabin Creek, Miami, Glasgow, and Chesapeake, WV. Weekly hours average 15, potentially increasing to 20 hours during holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying products, maintaining backroom areas, and other inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management about service or schedule concerns.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing strong time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during retail hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours during major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, and relocation as needed.
• Plan your weekly service schedule using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
Experience Required:
No experience necessary; training provided.
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for job updates.
• Technological competency to use a company tablet.
• Flexibility to work weekends and around major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
Physical Demands:
Work involves standing, walking, stooping, squatting, and lifting cartons or fixtures up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
