Job Overview

Start Time: Approximately 5:00 AM

Saturday & Sundays

Location: Charleston, WV

This is a Part Time position that will cover weekend & holiday coverage

The Merchandiser is responsible for presenting products attractively at retail locations, servicing multiple accounts by merchandising approved products using safe handling techniques, following quality guidelines, and communicating with store management and cross-functional teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelves according to procedures and programs
• Physically moves products from storage to display
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials, rotates products, and checks vendor operations
• Organizes back room inventory and manages product returns and damages
• Builds relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up and proactive communication

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, writing)
• Preferred customer service experience in retail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse customers
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Reliable and independent work ethic
• Critical thinking skills
• Company provided cell phone

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license
• Excellent driving record
• Proof of insurance with coverage of liability and property damage, effective from first day
