Job summary

Silverado in St. Charles is seeking Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on support for residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This part-time role blends empathy and reliability to create meaningful moments daily.

You will work AM shifts on weekends, with paid training and opportunities for internal advancement. Benefits include insurance options and retirement planning as part of a recognized Great Place to Work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
