Job summary

KUMC Credit Union in Kansas City, KS is seeking a part-time Member Service Representative (20–25 hours per week) to assist members with financial transactions with friendly, accurate service.

This in-person role may require working at either of our two locations, with some Saturday hours. Daily tasks include balancing cash drawer, processing deposits and withdrawals, and promoting credit union products; must pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service while looking for opportunities to deepen the member relationship.
• Perform daily balancing of a cash drawer in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process financial transactions including check cashing, funds transfers, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Service existing accounts.
• Provide information concerning credit union services, policies, and procedures.
• Assess member needs and identify opportunities to help members by recommending additional products, services, or referrals.
• Provide information and solutions on basic deposit products, credit card products, and services that could benefit members.
