Job summary

Corewell Health seeks a part-time Pharmacy Technician to document medication histories and support the Surgical Health Optimization Center at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. You will work under pharmacists to verify histories, maintain patient profiles, and assist with data projects.

Required include a high school diploma and 2 years in retail pharmacy; MI licensure or national certification is preferred. This role emphasizes accuracy, patient care, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant experience in Retail Pharmacy required.
• Preferred licensure as Pharmacy Technician in Michigan; Pharmacist Intern licensure a plus.
• National certification such as CPHT/ExCPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation and clarification of medication histories under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter and interpret physician/nurse/pharmacist histories in the computerized system.
• Communicate with providers, patients, and pharmacies to clarify information.
• Assist in special projects and maintain accurate patient profiles.
• Support multiple medication automation systems and serve as liaison with patients/caregivers.
