Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a pharmacist for inpatient services at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. You will supervise and dispense medications, educate patients and the health care team, and participate in drug-use evaluations and therapeutic optimization.

The role requires a PharmD or equivalent, state licensure, and hospital pharmacy experience. Schedule includes rotating shifts with weekend coverage, in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• 2 years of relevant experience in hospital pharmacy.
• Preferred ASHP accredited residency in Pharmacy Practice.
• LIC-Pharmacist required in Michigan (MI) with 90 days processing time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and efficacy of medication use and educate patients/families and care teams on drug therapy.
• Collaborate with multiple medication automation systems and interpret medication orders for dosing, allergies, and interactions.
• Dispense medications and monitor therapy, providing dosage regimen recommendations to prescribers.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
