• Record and document patient results per guidelines.
• Demonstrate judgment and independent thinking in result interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing by analyzing proficiency samples.
• Assume department responsibility when supervisor is absent.
• Complete all records and documentation for patient results.
• Perform stat procedures within established turnaround times.
• Use good judgment in interpretation of results; perform delta checks as needed.
• Review logs and resolve outstanding workload with staff.
