Job summary

Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Medical Secretary in Webster City, IA, with primary hours Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5pm. Duties include answering phones, scheduling patients, scanning, faxing, and assisting with referrals. You may float to other ISH clinic locations.

Some clinics require knowledge of family practice, occupational medicine, mental health, and specialty care. Qualifications include at least 2 years of clinic experience and Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Clinic Experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of family practice care from newborn to geriatrics, as well as occupational medicine, mental health and specialty practices.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule patients.
• Scan and fax documents.
• Assist with referrals and consults.
• Coordinate with specialty teams and manage provider templates.
• May float to other ISH clinic locations.
