Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a dependable Certified Medical Assistant to join the Hampton clinic team. The role combines nursing tasks with front desk reception in a family practice setting serving patients from newborns to geriatrics.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of clinic experience, active CMA certification, and EPIC experience. Responsibilities include rooming patients, vital signs, injections, immunizations, EKGs, lab draws, and coordinating care with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinic experience preferred.
• Active Certification in Medical Assisting.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, team oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Hampton at Iowa Specialty Clinic!

This position will require knowledge of family practice care from newborn to geriatrics.

The ideal candidate would be cross-trained to fill in where needed in the Clinic. Duties include both nursing and front desk reception.

Responsibilities include: rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, perform injections, immunizations, EKG's, verify patient information and insurance, coordinate patient care, lab draws, fielding patient phone calls, prescription refills, assisting with procedures, referrals, prior authorizations, wound care, and other duties as assigned.

Applicant must be able dependable, ability to multi-task, detail oriented and work well with clinical team.

Schedule:

Full Time

Monday-Friday

No Holidays

May Float to other ISH locations.

Qualifications:

2+ years of clinic experience preferred

Active Certification in Medical Assisting

EPIC experience preferred
