Arlington Orthopedics Associates is seeking a part-time Medical Scribe to support providers by handling dictations, entering data into the EHR, and helping maintain clinic flow. A one-year commitment is preferred, with opportunities to work across multiple locations in the area.

The role requires familiarity with medical terminology, strong typing speed, and professional communication with patients and physicians. This position offers flexible scheduling and a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred; gap-year students welcome.
• Familiarity with medical and anatomy terminology.
• Ability to type 45+ words per minute and communicate professionally with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with navigating EHR system and reviewing patient information.
• Enter data into EHR as directed by the provider.
• Research information as requested by the provider.
• Respond to messages as directed by the provider.
• Assist with documenting patient care in the EHR and ensure coding on patient superbill.
• Comply with HIPAA procedures.
