Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Patient Registration Representative/Medical Records Specialist to guide patients through registration and introduce the facility to reduce anxiety. You will coordinate with departments to ensure high patient satisfaction and assist with processing health information, including release of information and medical records.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in health care or customer service.
• HS diploma, GED or certificate required.
• Experience with patient interaction and registration processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients through the registration process and introduce the facility to reduce anxiety.
• Serve as a liaison among patients, families, management and staff to ensure satisfaction and quality of services.
• Assist with processing health information including release of information and medical records.
