Alliance Psychiatric Group in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a part-time Medical Office Assistant to join our outpatient mental health practice. The role includes answering calls, scheduling appointments, patient intake, insurance verification, and maintaining confidential records.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training, a supportive team, and a flexible part-time schedule with roughly 3 shifts per week.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and appointment requests.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Assist with new patient registration, intake forms, and documentation.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Maintain accurate patient information and electronic medical records.
• Communicate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients.
• Assist with prescription refill requests and prior authorization paperwork.
• Help with general administrative duties and daily office operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
