Job summary

Beaufort County Community College in Washington, NC seeks an Adjunct Instructor for Medical Laboratory Technology. The position requires an AAS in MLT, ASCP eligibility, and at least two years of clinical lab experience; a BS and teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of AAS in Medical Laboratory Technology and ASCP eligibility.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience required.
• Preferred BS in Clinical Laboratory Science and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction to students in the MLT program.
• Collaborate with program lead on syllabi, objectives, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and program records.
• Support short-range planning and budgeting with the lead instructor.
• Submit class schedules and book orders for courses.
• Conduct duties in a professional, ethical, collegial manner.
• Demonstrate open door philosophy and fulfill assigned duties.
