Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Eligibility for certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a recognized certifying agency.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples following established procedures and instruct patients on collection.
• Perform tests in hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry and urinalysis.
• Prepare reagents and volumetric solutions for testing.
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment; follow safety and infection control practices.
• Conduct cell/tissue culture testing and analyze results as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
