Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is hiring for a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician to perform technical laboratory functions across Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology and Microbiology. You will receive and process specimens, analyze results, and report findings to approved callers.

Qualifications include an Associate degree and certification within 1 year; 6+ months of clinical lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or military training equivalency or equivalent
• Certification within 1 year of employment preferred by a nationally recognized professional registry.
• Clinical laboratory experience of at least six months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical laboratory functions including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology and Microbiology testing; receives and processes specimens and records results.
