Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a part-time (24 hours/week) role at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. The candidate will apply advanced technical knowledge to department testing, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality assurance initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field, appropriate MLS/categorical certification, and competency in phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, OR Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science with certification.
• Certification (MLS or categorical) or equivalent completion of a medical laboratory program.
• Foreign credentials require evaluation when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing accurately and timely according to policies and standards.
• Monitor abnormal results and ensure result validity and documentation.
• Assist in inventory control and departmental budgeting
• Provide training and competency assessments for staff and participate in committees
• Act as a department resource with strong communication to internal/external customers
• Process and prepare patient samples with correct ID and specimen integrity
