Sonora Quest Laboratories in Greeley, CO seeks a Part-time Medical/Clinical Lab Scientist (24 hours per week) to join the Gen Lab-North Colorado team. Responsibilities include accurate testing, calibration, quality monitoring, QA participation, training, and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure specimen integrity and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology or a related chemical/biological degree with certification
• Certification (MLS or categorical) or equivalent credential from an accredited MLS program
• Active certification maintained for NV/CA where applicable
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation (IERF or similar)
• For some specialties, a bachelor’s degree plus one year in the discipline may be required
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Perform testing accurately and promptly following policies and performance standards
• Startup, calibration, and accuracy checks for procedures and instrumentation
• Monitor abnormal results and document deviations from procedures
• Assist with QA/quality indicators and process improvements
• Participate in department inventory, budgeting, and financial data
• Contribute to training, committees, and competency assessments
• Educate internal and external customers and participate in staff meetings
• Handle specimen collection and processing as required
