Responsibilities

• Perform testing accurately and promptly per policies and standards.
• Calibrate instruments and monitor results; participate in QA activities.
• Monitor abnormal results and support department compliance with regulations.
• Assist with process improvements and department budgeting and inventory.
• Contribute to training and competency assessments for staff.
• May collect and process patient specimens ensuring proper identification.
