Community Health in Rutland/Region is seeking a Front Office Admin to be the first contact for patients, handling scheduling, registration, and billing support. The role floats between Rutland and Castleton Express care with evening hours, typically 4:30pm–8:00pm on weekdays and one 12-hour weekend shift.

Part-time with potential for more; position eligible for shift differential incentives and a team-focused work environment serving both insured and uninsured patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills.
• Basic medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone.
• Schedules appointments.
• Directs calls to appropriate staff.
• Provides information as needed.
• Directs customers to appropriate staff.
• Registers patients.
• Enters or updates patient information in computer.
