Job summary

Orlando Health Physician Associates is seeking a Part-Time Front Office Assistant to support ambulatory/physician office operations across Orlando Health locations. Duties include patient registration, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, and patient referrals under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Six (6) months experience in a clerical office, or general business, and/or customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments according to practice scheduling protocols and patient preference.
• Obtains accurate and complete patient demographic and insurance information.
• Processes all requests for medical records according to policy.
• Adheres to Orlando Health policies and value statements.
• Demonstrates competency with office equipment and handling calls professionally.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction and supports billing as requested.
