The position emphasizes customer service, access control at nursing facilities or medical sites, and reporting of incidents. Candidates should meet basic requirements and be prepared for a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and policy; some jurisdictions welcome qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and greet, screen, and direct visitors, tenants, vendors, and personnel per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, maintain visitor logs and credentials, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation of visitor activity and security observations.
