Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a Medical Director/Attending Physician in Northfield, VT for a part-time schedule (2 days per week). You will lead clinical staff, oversee resident care, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities include mentoring medical staff, guiding credentialing, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality geriatric care. This role offers meaningful impact and balance for experienced physicians.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
• Extensive LTC or skilled nursing facility experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth regulatory and quality improvement knowledge in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices.
• Lead interview and credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric care advancements to evolve offerings.
• Provide direct patient care with high-quality treatment.
