Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Browns Valley, MN seeks a Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will lead clinical staff, ensure high standards, and promote best practices across the healthcare team.

This part-time role (2 days/week) offers opportunities to mentor staff, participate in credentialing, and champion quality and patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities.
• CMD certification is preferred for leadership in medical direction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Comfort with mobility and physical tasks on clinical rounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and mentorship to medical staff.
• Lead credentialing and interview processes for new medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI committee on a quarterly basis.
• Support DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric and long-term care advancements.
