Portland Community College is seeking Part-time Faculty for its Medical Assisting Program in Oregon. Instructors will teach courses such as MA 112, MA 117, MA 114, MA 120, MA 118, MA 131 and MA 132 starting Fall 2023 and beyond.

Candidates should have an associate degree or MA leadership experience and CMA credentials, with ambulatory care MA experience preferred. New hires typically start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule, with hourly rates determined by course type and PCC compensation

Qualifications

• Associate degree or three years experience working directly with Medical Assisting students or new hire MAs in a leadership/training role.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentialed through the AAMA, NHA, NCCT or AMT.
• Three years experience working as a medical assistant in an ambulatory care setting.
