Job summary

BayMark Health Services is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Assistant for MedMark Treatment Centers to greet patients, schedule appointments, and collect information. The role includes taking vital signs, assisting practitioners, and collecting lab samples in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have MA certification, phlebotomy experience, CPR/BCLS, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• CPR/BCLS certification.
• Familiar with State, DEA, TJC/CARF regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; MS Office knowledge.
• 1–2 years healthcare experience preferred; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule intake appointments and prepare medical records.
• Check in patients and measure vital signs.
• Assist Medical Director/Practitioner with intakes.
• Obtain blood and other lab specimens.
• Prepare treatment rooms and disinfect equipment.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Triage calls and manage communications.
• File labs and distribute results.
• Other duties as assigned.
