MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Part Time Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments and collect personal information. You will take vital signs, support clinicians with treatments and collect lab samples in a progressive substance abuse treatment setting.

The ideal candidate has a CMA/registered status, CPR/BCLS certification, and familiarity with MS Office and patient management software. Prior healthcare experience is valued plus a compliant background check.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be certified or registered as Medical Assistant.
• Phlebotomy is involved in the position and is a required skill.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Familiar with State Regulations, DEA regulations and TJC/CARF accreditation.

Responsabilités

• Schedules intake appointments and verifies patient information.
• Check in patients and record vital signs in electronic charts.
• Assist Medical Director/Physician/NP with patient intakes.
• Obtain blood specimens and nonblood samples for lab testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
