Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, AZ is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant Instructor to teach and mentor students on a PRN basis at the East Valley campus (957 S. Dobson Road). The role offers a flexible morning schedule, blending chairside expertise with classroom leadership to train tomorrow’s healthcare professionals.

You will develop lesson plans, assess student performance, and supervise externships while maintaining compliance and fostering a vibrant learning environment on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Minimum of two years practical experience in Dental Assisting.
• Familiarity with state requirements for dental assisting educational programs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging lessons and labs for adult learners in both lab and classroom settings.
• Assess student work and provide feedback within 72 hours of submission.
• Maintain office hours for student guidance and mentorship, both in person.
• Supervise externships to ensure real-world practice readiness.
• Maintain required documentation and records for compliance and attendance.
