Job summary

Qualifications

• Conferred associate degree or higher in a healthcare related field.
• Completed coursework in a healthcare field (transcripts and/or certificates required).
• At least two years of healthcare facility experience performing, supervising, or observing medical assisting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create and model a quality learning environment for diverse student populations.
• Maintain student records and document incompletes within College timelines.
• Utilize technology-based programs to access and input student records.
• Assist students with registration, advising and graduation processes.
• Structure classes and curriculum to align with program outcomes.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries.
• Attend in-service sessions and department meetings as required.
