Job summary

Centura College is seeking a Medical Assistant Instructor to deliver subject matter instruction in a classroom or lab setting and teach assigned classes as scheduled.

You will assist the Program Coordinator and Campus Director in curriculum development, class scheduling, and maintaining tools and equipment; you will also keep accurate attendance, grades, and student evaluations, with occasional local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years related practical work experience in the subject matter.
• RMA, CCMA, or CMA certification; BLS current or within 6 months of hire date.
• Must demonstrate up‑to‑date knowledge and continue study of the subject matter.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes on a regularly scheduled basis and create a welcoming learning environment.
• Assist in curriculum development, preparing course materials, class scheduling, and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom or lab; establish and maintain academic and attendance records.
• Submit attendance, grades, student evaluations, and reports to Supervisor as required.
